Domestic Water Treatment Technologies


Our technologies

We use the same water cleaning technologies in our domestic equipment as those used in settlements and industrial plants over the world. The smaller size does not have to mean a compromise for lower water quality. We have international partners and connections, the parts of the equipment are produced by the most renowned manifacturers in the U.S. and other countries.

Our water purification equipment can be installed for two main purposes:

  1. to improve tap water quality (eg. soften, de-chlorinate, de-iron etc.)
  2. to transform well water to drinkable water

The water produced by our equipment are certified by the National Institute of Public Health in Hungary as drinking water.


Ion exchange equipment

Water softeners

Water hardness is caused by Calcium (Ca2+) and Magnesium (Mg2+) ions in the water. Ion exchange systems replace these ions with Sodium (Na+). A special resin is used to exchange the ions. This resin is used up over time, gets coated in Calcium and Magnesium ions. The machine prepares a regeneration solution from saline tablets, and regenerates the ion exchange resin with this solution, ie. restores the capacity of the ion-exchange material. This cycle can be repeated several hundred times.

The regeneration typically runs on a fixed schedule, which can be set by the user.

We also offer an intelligent volume controlled model, which can learn your water consumption habits and optimise the time and frequency of regenerations.

We offer tests to measure water hardness.

CR water softeners

A special water softner machine, which is able to make soft water in only one step: removes ions, iron, manganese and ammonium from the water. One CR softener can replace a whole chain of water treatment equipment.

Nitrate removers

Water can contain nitrate which is harmful for human health, it is especially dangerous for infants. The nitrate remover looks like a water softner, however, it removes nitrate. There is a special design, which removes nitrate and makes soft water in one step.

Humus removers

Humic acids, the soluble substances of humus color the water brown or yellow. Disinfection of this water creates carninogenic substances. However, humic acid can be removed from the water safely with a special ion exchange equipment. The machine is similar to a water softener, except for its special filter media.


Filteration equipment

Iron removers

Iron can be found in groundwater. Well waters are usually ferruginous. The russet coloured water can ruin the bathroom equipment, clothes and so on. Furthermore, microorganisms settle on the iron hydroxide sediment deposited inside the tubes.

The iron remover equipment rapidly oxidizes the iron content of the water and filters out the iron hydroxide formed. Pollution is trapped on the surface of the filter cartridge particles. The filter material saturated with dirt is automatically cleaned by backwash.

A dosing system is also required for the process.

Catalytic iron and manganese removers

Well water usually contains iron and also manganese, making the water brown or black. This machine is able to remove both iron and manganese from the water with the help of the catalytic filter media. There are six different types of catalític filter media, we use the one that is the most suitable for the purification.

Arsenic removers

Arsenic is usually found in plutonic rocks. Waters near these areas contain more arsenic than the safety limit, which is dangerous to those who drink it every day. We recommend highly efficient adsorption technology for the removal of arsenic. Filter media needs to be replaced over time.

Activated carbon filters

These filters help to remove bad smell and taste from the water. Activated charcoal binds the chlorine content of the drinking water, the majority of the organic matter causing unpleasant taste or odor, and most of the agricultural and industrial organic chemicals that may enter the water. The resulting water tastes and smells nice. The usage of this filter is inevitable in soda-water plants.

The filter bed should be loosened and washed once or twice a week. This is the task performed by the automatic control head. Depending on the task, we can provide activated carbon in which a silver additive inhibits the potential growth of bacteria.

Reverse osmosis equipment

Reverse osmosis equipment purifies water by physical filtration. It filters out different salts from the water, making it the same quality as distilled water.

Even the smallest equipment we sell can produce 1-2 m³ of purified water per day. Conventional household reverse osmosis equipment produces six liters of wastewater per liter of purified water. To improve this ratio, we have reduced the size of industrial equipment to household size. While producing one liter of purified water, our equipment produces only 0.33 liters of wastewater.


UV equipment

UV disinfectant equipment

The ultraviolet disinfection equipment was designed to destroy bacteria, fungi and viruses in the water. The UV light breaks the DNA of microorganisms. The machine runs on a low energy consumption level.
